수도용 연결 자재/부속에 관해 질문드립니다.

음용 상수도 배관 연결에 쓰이는 각종 자재인.. 소켓, 밸브 등등의 소재를 보면, 대부분 황동, 스테인리스, 합성수지입니다.
이 가운데 황동 제품의 경우, 음용수 관에 사용이 적합한가요?
시중에 유통되는 대부분의 제품이 어디서 제조된 것인지 알수가 없어서, 요즘 유통되는 자재의 부식, 녹 발생이 어느 정도인지 궁금합니다.
그리고 시중에서 이런 연결 자재를 구입 및 사용할 때, 해당 자재가 음용 상수도용으로 적합한지 여부를 최종 소비자가 어떻게 알 수 있나요?
우리나라에는 상수도용 KC 인증 제도가 있습니다.
배관(예: xa 파이프, pb 파이프 등)의 경우, 인증정보를 쉽게 알 수 있습니다만, 연결 자재의 경우 대부분 어떤 생산회사의 제품인지, 국내생산품인지 수입품인지의 여부조차 파악이 되지 않습니다. 그래서 인증여부를 확인하기 어렵습니다. 심지어 시공업체/시공자의 경우도 해당 정보를 올바로 확인하지 않은채 시공하는 경우가 대부분인것 같아 이렇게 질문드립니다.
저 역시 관련 분야 전문가가 아니라서 똑 부러지는 답변은 어렵습니다만.. 배관 재질이 걸어왔던 발전 방향을 살펴보면... 황동소재보다는 스테인레스스틸, 그리고 합성수지계열을 사용하시는 것이 좋겠습니다.
이는 해당 소재에 유해성이 있다고 하더라도 일단 내부식성이 매우 강하기 때문에, 실질적인 유해성으로 이어지지는 않을 것이라는 예상이 충분히 가능하기 때문입니다.
그리고, 밸브류 등에 사용되는 스테인레스스틸(s304) 등에 관한 것은 주로 ASTM 규정을 따르는 것으로 알고 있습니다.
질문에 올릴려고 하다가 비슷한 질문인거 같아서요
Q1. 앵글밸브는 그래도 스텐 재질이 조금씩 보이던데요, 수전엘보 같은 연결 자재는 스텐보다 황동이 많은 이유는 뭔가요?
비철 매매단가표를 봐도 스텐보다 황동이 훨씬 비싸고, 황동은 내부 녹이 스는걸로 알고 있는데요
스텐으로 된 수전 연결 자재를 찾아볼려고해도 찾을 수가 없네요
설령 있다고해도 황동 제품과는 달리 PB배관과 호환되는 제품은 없네요
Q2. 이럴경우 수전 엘보는 황동을 쓰고, 니플이나 앵글은 스텐 재질로 사용하는것이 최선인가요?
추청컨데... 플라스틱계열의 배관이 잘 물리기 위해서는 그나마 열팽창계수가 유사한 금속이어야 해서 그렇지 않을까 싶습니다...
접착력이 좋아서 가스가 잘 새지 않기 때문에 공업용으로 쓰일 때에는 가스통같은 압력용기의 연결부분에 많이 사용된다. 또한 가스, 스팀, 물에 대한 내식성이 철에 비해 월등히 높으면서 가격은 스테인리스 재질의 자재보다 저렴하고[14] 작업도 편리하기 때문에 밸브와 배관 부속으로 엄청나게 많이 사용된다.
